DALMALLY – United Auctions (Friday 26th September) sold 4960 ewe lambs, gimmers and warranted ewes at its annual sale of Blackface breeding sheep.
The ewes sold to a new centre record of £5200 from J Jackson & Son, Pole Farm selling to HA Blackwood, Auldhouseburn.
The gimmers reached £850 for a pen from C Toner, Drumsynie and sold to R & I Shaw, Acharnoch.
A pen of ewe lambs from M Simpson, Sidlaw sold to a top of £400 to M Huysamer, Laggan View.
