BLACKFACE EWE LAMBS

Wallets Marts Castle Douglas Limited on Monday 7th September 2020 moved onto their Annual Blackface Ewe lamb sale where 1974 were forward. On a miserable day weather wise this did not hamper the trade with a buzz around pre-sale which continued right through the sale, making for a flyer of a trade to average £98.94, up £36.02 on the year. Top today was a select pen of 3 for regular consignors Messrs A Paton, Craig, Straiton selling to Messrs Robinson, Letterkenny. Next top was £150 from Messrs Ramsay, Milnmark, Dalry.
