The 17th Scottish Blackface Shearing Championships

LOCHEARNHEAD SHEARS 2010

The Blackface Sheep Breeders Association are proud to be one of the sponsors of Lochearnhead Shears, which took place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July 2010. This is the biggest shearing competition of Blackface Sheep in the world.
Once again the wet weather and consistent rain didnt seem to dampen the spirits of the shearers at Lochearnhead. An international line up of competitors congregated to fight for the Scottish Blackface Shearing Champion title. Many new faces appeared, trying to get experience on the British Sheep before the World Championships to be held at the Royal Welsh later on this month.
